Jorge Reverdes emerges as a possible lead candidate for the PAICV party in Brava in the 2026 legislative elections.

A long-time member of the African Party for the Independence of Cape Verde (PAICV), Reverdes is seen by several local figures as an experienced individual, knowledgeable about the island's political, social, and institutional reality.
Over the years, Jorge Reverdes has built a political career marked by party consistency and an active presence in local government bodies.
